Guest Guest_Zipper Posted September 5, 2004 Report Posted September 5, 2004 Tough loss but the team will bounce back. If you give up on this group after 60 minutes then the hell with you. Some thoughts: Biggs is better than Ringer. He is more evasive and had a better average on Saturday. Based on his game against Penn State he should get the start next week. Sullivan needs to start doing the placekicking again. Swiger is inconsistent and has not been in a groove since the UConn game last year. This is going to catch some heat but I like the 3-man front scheme on defense. No one else save Virginia and NIU will be as dominant up front on the OL like Penn State. Our guys will redeem themselves this week. According ot GOZIPS.com 4 true freshmen played on Saturday. Only 3 true freshmen played all last season. This means the new coaches think the talent base is thin. On defensive I believe this is true. On offense this is mostly true. The biggest concern has got to be the offensive line. Charlie was sacked only a few times but he was running for his life on most plays and got knocked down an awful lot. Hard to believe this is a veteran bunch of hogs up front. I like the chances of a big win against MTSU. Drop by the big blue van by the BMX track for some homemade wine before the game. Go Zips Quote
