timmyboy Posted April 27, 2007 Report Posted April 27, 2007 I was going through an old college football book that I have and it is from JD's second year as head coach here at Akron. He had to replace 4 starting lineman who had 120 somthing starts between the 4 of them. And if i do remember correctly, the year he had to replace his whole offensive line, we ended up winning the MAC championship and making it to our first ever (D1) bowl game. So lets hope that the offensive line can produce this year like they did before when we had to replace all but 1 starter.and as a side note, they also mentioned that the biggest strength of the team was their special teams........ what a far cry from what we have today.
