Guest Guest
And according to a PA paper, another transfer from Pitt...... a defensive lineman from Massillon. 6'4" 280 pounds....... Andy Alleman... (sp?). Good catch. I googled for Andy Alleman and found this article: http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/04254/376577.stm It's an interesting read about Walt Harris and J.D. Apparently Alleman left Pitt for Akron before Getsy. 1) Andy Alleman, DL (Pitt transfer, from Ohio) 2) Luke Getsy, QB (Pitt transfer, eligible next year) 3) Terricko Marshall, DE 4) Keith Huebner, OL (chose Zips over BGSU)

Z.I.P.
Well, dagnabbit, I'm an Andy Alleman fan already. According to the Pitt website, Andy is a Massillon Washington HS grad from Greentown. I wonder how many D-1 players Greentown has ever produced. The only person I know from Greentown, I call Mom. Tee, hee, hee.
zipboy
Nice article. I say F Shelly. If Walt Harris got an offer to go to a bigger school than Pitt, he would leave in a heartbeat. Where is his loyalty to the players he recruited? It should go both ways. If a coach can jump ship at anytime, a player should be allowed to leave too if he wants to. Here is hoping Pitt comes to the Rubber Bowl next year. Too bad Harris won't be around to see the game as he gets canned after 6-5 season in a watered down Big East. Zipsrifle
Hey, this is a pretty good thing that has started here! Is there any way we can tack up a list of JD's recruits this year and the position similar to what is above? Maybe we can add the other schools that looked at them too so we can get an idea of how good of a catch they are.
