timmyboy
Just sitting here at home flipping through the channels and i came across the show who wants to be a millionaire (the sports edition). One of the questions on it was what college did all pro DE Jason Taylor attend ( it was for 1,000$) and the choices were in order as follows....A.) Auburn B.) Ohio State C.) Akron D.) Pitt Why did this dumb guy say well i know Jason is from Pennsylvania, and i know he didnt go to Auburn or Ohio State, and I never heard of Akron having any good players to go pro's so it has to be (D) Pitt. This guy had me wanting to jump thru the Television an grab him by his neck. If you know enough to know JT is from Pennsylvania, then you should know enough about him to know he went to AKRON..... some people are just dumber then $#it. ZachTheZip
It was the $1,000 question? Ha! That means it was supposed to be one of the obvious answers, then. Nice.I'm glad he lost, too.
johnnyzip84
At least he didn't pick "STATE"
skip-zip
You have to assume that the guy was not all that knowledgeable about the NFL. Based on his answer and comments, he didn't know the college affiliation of the NFL Defensive MVP, or the college affiliations of the starting NFL Quarterbacks. If you follow the NFL on a weekly basis, you should at least know one of these two things. zen
in a way, he did akron a service. How many people were watching millionaire and saw that and thought, "oh wow, I feel dumb for not knowing that... I'm going to remember 'Akron'" or........ "I knew that! Akron, yup"Either way, it sticks because of the situation

Apollo Creed
Wow. I can't believe anyone actually cares about this. Do we have that much of an inferiority complex at Akron that we get this worked up over "Who Wants to be a Millionaire"???
