Cheap Shots

Just got home from the game and I have a question. What was up with the cheap shots that your guys was taking today? Blowing up the punt return guy WAY before he catches the ball...twice? #25 & #26 on back to back punts pulled this BS. #7 on defence was late on several hits late in the game but never drew a penalty. Are those guys coached to be this dirty or what? I have read many posts on www.thesabre.com from people feeling the same way I do, so I know I'm not the only one that thought that was pretty dirty on the Zips part.

from what the announcer said the first one was the player was pushed into the kicker by one of your players. as for others i have no idea. i thought the same way against penn state.they had a bunch of late hits on us.do you honestly think any coach would tell a player to late hit and pick up a penalty. if a player does it on his own there is not much you can do until after the fact.i do not go for that kind of stuff, and dont think any of the zip fans do either.

Yea, I don't know what was going on but those were uncalled for. I sure hope that the officials weren't letting that stuff slide 'cause we were getting beat so bad. Nobody should get hurt cause of cheap shots. I have to say that Groh was pretty gracious to us in the 2nd half. I sure hope the UA staff doesn't let this stuff slide. If they do, I won't fault any team for running up the score on us.
