The game with C.A.N.T that was originally scheduled for 6:00 pm was changed to 3:00 pm to accomodate FSN. It has now been changed to a noon kick-off and will be part of the ESPN Regional /MAC package and will be carried by WEWS (Channel 5).

That's some early tailgating, there.Channel 5 is possibly the best thing we could hope for locally. Better than FSN because its broadcast over the air and everyone gets it. It means more respect (its on a news channel instead just a sports channel). Local channels picking up our games is one of the remedies that I think we need to solve our attendance problem, the others being winning and a new stadium (both coming soon, hopefully).

The Ohio State game on September 22 is still listed as TBA for game time the last time that I checked their schedule. Wonder i that will conflct with the Zips/Flushes kickoff and keep people away. But hey - no snow hopefully this time, right?

1) If Ohio State is playing at home, it will almost surely be a 12pm kickoff.2) I was going to be really perplexed if at least one of the WEWS/MAC games did not involve either Can't or Akron. We're the only two MAC teams in the viewing area. 3) I wouldn't prefer to start drinking in the Rubber Bowl parking lot at 8am, but I will have to make an exception.
