Meet the team.....

Today, Akron fans will have the opportunity to have a meal with the team as well as have an autograph session at the annual “Meet the Team” day. The event will be at the Stile Field House from 5-7 pm. The buffet dinner will begin at 5 pm and cost $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. After the dinner, approximately 6 pm, the players will be available to sign autographs and take pictures. Also, there will be inflatables in the Field House as well as raffles, giveaways, music and more. While the meal comes with a charge, parking and admission for Meet the team is free. Hope to see everyone there.

Let me know how it goes. I'll be sitting at work, staring at the wall. Such is the life of a college student; you have to work when you get the opportunities.I usually try to ask the coaches and players some good questions, ones that make them think a bit. Sometimes it takes a fan's question to get them thinking about something they may have not noticed in practice. You guys will have to take my place tonight.

I Just got back from the meet the team. It was a nice event, and i really liked how they had pictures of the new stadium for everyone to see. The team had a little over 3 hour practice this morning, and were all still very nice to everyone. The OL seems to be alot bigger then they have been in the past, and from talking to some of them they are gelling alot faster then OL in years past as well. One of the QB that i spoke to said that the OL is lookin 50 times better then what they did look in the spring. Overall I think that the team is alot bigger and faster then they have been in the past, and i am looking forward to this year.
