I must admit, that's a really cool article, especially the one picture b&w showing the hillside stands filled to the brim- THAT I hope for.

A mysterious voice an unseen presence similar to the Great and Powerful Oz boomed over loudspeakers. It was ''The Voice of the Stadium.''''I am young and inexperienced,'' the voice said. ''I was built by man, but what are my uses? What are the services expected of me? How can I best be of service to those who have constructed me?''Thomas replied: ''Before your young eyes, Mr. Stadium, there now will pass in review here at your christening party, multiple groups of our youth who can, and who will, depict in the span of a few short minutes, the myriad ways by which you will be of service. Of service to them, and to generations yet unborn . . . You have been built for permanency.''

It would be kind of cool to hear "The Voice of the Stadium" once again at the dedication of InfoCision Stadium, this time (maybe sounding a bit tired/weary/older) as he names some of the events he has hosted and witnessed over the last 69 years before passing the torch. Video and still images could be shown on the scoreboard as "he" is speaking. A shot of the words "R U B B E R B O W L" could then cut to video of the Rubber Bowl at night as the lights are turned out for the last time on a lone (and famous) light pole.A lot of good memories (not necessarily good results) out there but I'm 42 and ready for a shiny new model!
