Just got this e-mail. I assume it applies to all students:The Zips football team opens the season by hosting Army in the inaugural FirstMerit Patriot Bowl at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1 in Cleveland Browns Stadium. Student tickets are just $10. A bus trip and meal are available for $10.One week later at noon, the Zips hit the road to battle Ohio State, the 2006 Big Ten champions and national championship runner-up. A limited number of student tickets are available for $60 with a valid student I.D. Limit one ticket per I.D. uh...yeah. the ticket office kinda dropped the ball on this. i went in a couple of weeks ago and asked when they were going on sale. they said they were waiting until sometime during the first week of school so that every student had an equal chance at buying them. so i spoke to them wednesday and asked if they had a date nailed down yet. it turns out they found out that they need to return all unsold tickets next wednesday and later checking my e-mail i saw that they went on sale that day. i bought 2 tickets today (me and my friend's) and they still had a hefty stack. they better open up ticket sales to everyone come tuesday. i don't care if the guy next to me isn't a student as long as he isn't a buckeye!
