now the question is: where are they ranked nationally?
Ha! We're in the MAC, that means that even if we put together a legitimate and obvious #1 team, we won't be ranked anywhere near it until we beat the traditional powers-that-be on our schedule. I am hoping for the Zips to become a traditional power, too, but first we will need a few national championships. I'm sure that we will see an NCAA championship trophy at UA in a few years. Could UA become the Louisville of soccer? I would love it. Now all we need is a field worthy of a #1 team. How's the upgrade going, or has it even been started?

my money would be on soccer getting it first. rifle is decent and close to breaking into the top ranks, but no where near close to actually winning it all. someone can shoot me for saying it, but i'm being realistic. i think we can beat navy this year and win both of our leagues, possibly make ncaa's but there is still another jump between the bottom team at ncaa's and who wins it all. we need to find some consistency among the team. we'll see.
