The guys at BuckeyePlanet have certainly done their homework. They have more info about Akron than I've ever seen the local rag have over the last 10 years combined. Haha, yeah, after OSU, Mich, PSU, and Wisconsin the talent drops off a bit. I'd still be interested in looking at draft picks for MAC vs. the remaining Big 10 schools though.

According to one of the above sites, Moore and Hill have since enrolled at Hargrave Military Academy. Well, we have a pretty good name there since we have been getting several great recruits from Hargrave the past couple classes so I'm hoping we still have a chance to get both of them into a Zips uniform next year!

Pathetic is what it is. Nearly all of the highy rated guys never made it. The saddest part of those entire Buckeyeplanet threads is that it takes an opponents site to give us information on our own team.

This might be more facts than I've ever seen anywhere about Akron football. I like how they rate themselves better at every position, except TE. I don't think that's going to be a difference maker. I'd also rate Akron better at DB. And possibly equal at RB since DK is a Big Ten caliber player, with depth being him. Also, I'd rate us equal at QB since they have a new starter as well.I think the real difference in a game like this will be the Nutheads' defensive front against our new offensive line. I just hope our defense can keep it close.

Db is close. Jenkins will be a 1st round draft pick next year if he declares. He is a shut down guy.Both safeties will be in the NFL too. Andre Jones is good, but Pace seems to have regressed some since his sophomore year.I do feel that Corner and Tate are both better than Washington right now.

TE SHOULD be a difference maker. As a former tight end, I think our tight ends are as good as any and should be utilized more as receivers. Defenses rarely account for the TE and subsequently they could be threat. But we may need to keep them home to protect the QB. I'm still not convinced about the QB, though.
