Anyone want to help out a Marshall fan? How about you Zipsrifle?

What are Can't's strengths (besides Cribbs) and weaknesses? I know their record but it is a road game and anything can happen. Your insight's appreciated.

After extensive research on this subject, here is my conclusion. Marshall will win this one handily.

Sorry to bother ya. Just wanted to get something going. I know absolutely nothing about Can't except for Cribbs and they've had some close losses.

The way Marshall has been playing, I don't know if we can beat anyone handily. Our offense couldn't score one TD on Ohio and Goddard, our DE, is third on the team in scoring I believe :blink:

Can't will give a better game than expected, but they will implode somehow. If they had decent special teams, they may have won 2 more games. Offensively everything revolves around Cribbs. Keep him contained, and they may not even score. Defensively, I don't know stats but I like their secondary. You should be able to run on them. It is supposed to rain all day too which may neutralize your superior talent. Marshall wins 20-10.

Series: Can't State leads 18-16

Outlook: The Thundering Herd has won the last nine in this series and there is no reason to think they won’t make it ten in a row. Marshall’s defense has been absolutely suffocating and unless Can't State protects quarterback Josh Cribbs, it will be a tough day for the home standing flushes. Look for the Herd’s league leading rushing defense to force Cribbs and company to air it out but even then the Golden flushes will have to deal with the nation’s leading interceptor, Chris Royal. Yep, a long day for the flushes.

Prediction: Marshall 26, Can't State 10.
