ZippyRulz Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 "Inclement weather limits Buckeyes to 20 points"Pluto's PD story: "Hold your heads high, Zips, your punts were fantastic" Quote
RACER Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 im sure are defense and punter will sleep well tonight.the plus side is the offense should be well rested for the indiana game next week. Quote
skip-zip Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 My guess was...."Buckeye's could have done more, if it wasn't for turnovers" Quote
Buckzip Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 OSU 20-Akron 2Game not as close as final score indicates Quote
skip-zip Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 Buckzip....no personal (since you accuse me of this) disrespect, but were you watching the same football game????For 3 quarters, Akron was one play away from taking the lead. And we were a 28 to 33 point underdog, based on which publication you were reading this week. If I were an Ohio State fan right now, I'd be looking for a rock to climb under. Seriously. Quote

Skip-Zip, these are sarcastic ABJ headlines. I am not saying that. I am saying what the ridiculous ABJ woud say.Read the other headlines too. They are making fun of the ABJ.I am emphasizing that the ABJ would put the score in small letter and the excuse in big letters. Quote

I didn't climb under a rock aftre the NC championship game and certainly will not today. If we had lost today I would still not climb under a rock. Win or lose I am proud of my team. Quote

I wish half of Akron felt the same way!!!!!! I went to the game sat surrounded by scarlet and grey, and had to really look to find other akron fans. My wife who never goes to games said you'd think this was an out of state game for the zips.3 things made me happy saturday:1. Defensive play I thought it was outstanding, those were akron "take aways" not buckeye turnovers IMO.2. Wife had such a good time she wants to go to more games.3. Despite being a huge minority I was treated nicely by most of the fans, except for a guy that screamed at us akron sucks as we left. Quote
skip-zip Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 Ryno...I'd be satisfied if 1/4 of Akron felt that way. Quote

Cicero, I didn't climb under a rock either. I spend a lot of time in Florida for business.I was abused and still am abused. Most of it is in good fun, but everytime I am down there I know it's coming. Quote
