Need to keep our eye on the Ball....State

I am, as much as anyone, hoping that there will be a MAC E #2 vs#1 showdown on Fri, Nov. 5th at the Rubberbowl. Is there a better opportunity this season to show off the new Zips? Well, folks.....first things first.

Let me start by saying that I'm sure that JD and the team is NOT overlooking BSU. From what I've seen, JD is very buisness like and keeps preaching one game at a time. There is absolutely no reason to not to give 100% focus to BSU this week, since we'll have 2 weeks to prep for Marshall.

As we all know, the Zips have been blasted by the good teams and have simply won against the really bad teams. I have a feeling that when this weeks ESPN bottom Ten come out, all the teams we've won against are on it. A breakdown this week sends everything into the crapper I haven't looked at BSU much yet, but I don't expect an easy win.

I'm just hoping for continued improvement, like we've seen all year. If we can do that, we should be able to win this game. I still think we've got a LOT of work to do if we want to be competitive in our last 3 games. Lets make this game a stepping stone and we'll move on from there.
