skip-zip Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 Might get slow without a game this week, but I noticed something this morning that could very well play to our advantage.Buffalo plays a road game at Syracuse this weekend. Sure, the Orangemen are not the greatest, but we are going to get to catch Buffalo after they've played in a road game that will likely be very physically demanding. And even if Buffalo pulls off the upset? We catch them after an emotionally draining game. And, if anyone remembers the letdown we had the week after beating NC State last year, you know how this can happen. Either way, I think we will be playing them under very favorable circumstances for us. Also....is anyone else surprised that Can't State is a 5.5 point favorite to beat Bowling Green this weekend? Also....is anyone else surprised that Can't State is a 5.5 point favorite to beat Bowling Green this weekend?I think playing UB at home would be more favorable to us. Historically, they play us extremely tough on their home field. The bye week should be a good thing for us to get people back into shape and like Buckzip said, work on the weaknesses. I think it will be a tough game, though. UB is not the push-over they have been in previous years even after a big, in-state "rivalry" game. The CSU/BG spread seems right to me. BG seems to be a bit of an enigma this year. Let them beat each other up and see how many whines and excuses Douggy has next week. Quote
RACER Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 the big game to watch in the mac is temple/ miami.the game is at temple and temple is coming off two straight wins.if temple can somehow pull the upset then everybody is back in the race.if miami wins it will be tough but not impossible for the rest of the east.i know buffalo is in first place ,but the zips can take care of them in two weeks.we just need temple to win three in a row.go owls!!!!!!!!
