Both are 2-4 and Seymour has about 2700 fewer votes.ZIPPY over Cocky (3-3)Should be another good one this week. VOTE ALL WEEK LONG EVERYONE!!!CAVMAN over Goldy GopherBoth are 3-3 but Cavman has 5000 fewer votes.MONTE over HokiebirdMonte is 2-4. Hokiebird is 3-3. It's OK now to vote for our boy Monte.

Zippy is officialy 6-0. GREAT JOB! You know, we're doing this to prove to everybody that UA has a fanbase, and that it is comprised of the BEST FANS IN THE WORLD. Well, we're proving ourselves right, and proving the media like Channel 5 and the ABJ wrong. But just winning the mascot competition is not really enough. Monte won it two times, but I hadn't ever heard of him until this year. Now, if we can go undefeated, that means 11-0 and 3-0 in the playoffs, that would be something. It's never been done before. They would have to pay attention, and they don't, we'll show them until they realize the truth.Good voting choices GoZips88. I'll be putting in my votes after class. We need to take an early lead so that we don't have to come from behind again. That was brutal.

Brutal is right! In hindsight, we had Monte all the way  ...I believe Duke Dog from James Madison went a perfect 11-0 during the "regular season" in 2004 only to lose to Monte in the playoffs. I agree - it would be fun to run the table completely and then do the same in the playoffs. It sure would SUCK to have a great regular season only to have a let-down in the playoffs (<cough> :mad_flame: Indians :mad_flame: <cough>).

A full-court press is being applied to Cocky (is somebody skipping a class or two on a Friday?) ... it's 12:38, :screwks: , and Zippy is up on Cocky by over 900 votes! Sure would be nice if we could hold onto that lead heading into the weekend. Hmmm ... I wonder if voters at the other schools are starting to figure out that it's going to be tough to catch Zippy so why not vote for her to knock down whoever she is facing? LOTS of 3-3 mascots, including Cocky, and I know that is how I'd be voting right now if I were 3-3.

If somebody is skipping class, it sure isn't me. All my professors love to schedule tests and quizzes on fridays. When I got back from running through that gauntlet, I looked and Zippy is up by nearly 1000. Way to go! :thumb: I do think that we are starting to see help from other schools. If they want to do the work for us, I'm certainly not going to complain.

It's 9:02 PM and Zippy is up by 1,217 votes .... now if only we could get (Give him the) Finger-Hut to keep Zippy and the University of Akron alive we would be OK

As Zippy has already made it to the playoffs, a vote against Zippy by anyone other than S.C. is a vote for Cocky to occupy one of the other slots open for their mascots. It would seem to be in everybody's else best interest to vote with us for Zippy.
Get on the other's schools' internet boards and blogs and explain that to them then!

Sucks to be behind this morning (I think). Is anyone else getting an error when they try to access the capitalonebowl.com web site? I'm assuming Zippy is safe since she was up by almost 1200 votes when I went to bed last night around 11PM. Sure glad this wasn't one of those Mondays where we had to mount a big push. Here's the junk I'm getting ...Server Error in '/' Application.Runtime Error Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine. Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".<!-- Web.Config Configuration File --><configuration> <system.web> <customErrors mode="Off"/> </system.web></configuration>Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.<!-- Web.Config Configuration File --><configuration> <system.web> <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/> </system.web></configuration>

I'm getting the exact same error.
