Guest OLDSCHOOLZIP Posted November 14, 2004 Report Posted November 14, 2004 Somebody should make a big zipsnation.org banner to hang over the wall for the Miami game. A packed house of Akronites will then see it, as well as a regional Ohio TV audience. That'll help us get the word out about this site, and hopefully get some more Zips fans posting in here! Quote
Zip Watcher Posted November 14, 2004 Report Posted November 14, 2004 I'd be happy to donate to the cause .. anyone have ties to a sign printer that can make up a real professional looking sign? Maybe someone who lurks here could design the sign? Quote

Guest Guest Posted November 14, 2004 Report Posted November 14, 2004 Good idea. It would let the entire crowd know there's some avid Zip fans out there. My design would be something like: www.zipsnation.org Come check us out! Captain Kangaroo ZipWatcher DA ZIPMAN ZipsRifle (etc.) I think adding the signatures would give it a personal touch and make people curious as to who these people are and what they have to say. Gold lettering on blue background? Maybe a "Good luck mens soccer" would also be a nice touch. Quote
wadscarman Posted November 14, 2004 Report Posted November 14, 2004 attached is a thought for a banner to be used at any Zips sporting event. Any input ?????????????? Quote
Zipsrifle Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 I'll throw in some cash. Any idea how much a banner costs? Quote
zff Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 Nice looking banner!!!!!!! I can sell my pinto for a few bucks. Quote
Guest Satisfied Customer Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 The best sign guy in town is Jon Erisey at Power Media. Call him up. He's a Zips fan, too. (330) 253-5350. He has a big end zone advertisement at the Bowl. Quote
Guest OLDSCHOOLZIP Posted November 19, 2004 Report Posted November 19, 2004 so is anyone going to do this? it's a great opportunity to promote this site that probably won't come around again for a long time. Quote
mrelegazna Posted November 19, 2004 Report Posted November 19, 2004 ...as well as a regional Ohio TV audience.... Make that "national", as the game will be on ESPN Gameplan (Thier College footbal PPV package). Quote
Guest Guest Posted November 20, 2004 Report Posted November 20, 2004 I don't think they make banners big enough to hide the eye sore that is the rubber bowl. Quote
