Thus they face Akron Friday night in the semi-finals.Hartwick tied Western Michigan and then proceeded to win the shoot out. Hartwick faces Buffalo in the other semi-final match. I heard that Buffalo won.Anyways, AKRON WINS IN DOUBLE SUDDEN-DEATH OVERTIME 2-1 TO ADVANCE TO THE MAC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!!!!!What a game. You couldn't ask for a better thriller. The Rowdies showed up in full force and gave the NIU goalie hell all game long. It should be a great game Sunday! Every Zips fan that's not currently out-of-state or in Alaska should be there. I didn't catch the winning scorer's name, but the whole team made it happen.The Rowdies rushed the field, and I hope they get it fixed up before Sunday. Looked like the NIU goalie was busy all night and Bush had it a bit easier if the Gametracker stats are right.Congrats on the big win!
