They were blown out by about 30 at Utah, but that's a pretty tough place to play so it's hard to tell how good USCU may be. I think it's more a case of another typical slow start in Zip BB.

I said the same thing a whole bunch of time last year .... free throws are going to kill us if we don't start making them. The Zips won a squeaker of a game that shouldn't even have been close. :unsure:

Wow! this was one ugly and stressful win.What's with the free throws? didn't we learn anything from last year's end?And for God's sake KD, learn from JD's mistake and make up your mind on who is the PG of this team. Let's hope this was an isolated bad game.

You know, SC Upstate already had a real game under their belts when they played us. That could have been a factor. Teams improve the most from game 1 to game 2, they say. Let's hope that's true.

Tomorrow we play Portland State since they beat IUPUI tonight. Hopefully the Zips improve and the coach saw some things that he can fix.

short what you dont realize is are regular point guard stewart is hurt.middleton from what i understand is also banged up.also i we have another pg coming in at the split.don't be so hard on jd until you know all the facts.a win is a win.we are really thin right now at the guard spots so i could see us losing a few early games.things should turn around in a few weeks.
