Personally, I don’t think either is the best man for the job right now -- both could use more seasoning, with Gill only holding two years of head-coaching experience at low-level Buffalo and Pelini not yet a head coach. Of the two, Gill seems more plausible (mostly because of his direct ties to Osborne), but Nebraska, one of the most prestigious programs in the country, can and should do better than that.Wish we were in a position to "do better than that"

On Frenchy's sports round-up on WNIR this morning, he mentioned that Buffalo had given Nebraska permission to talk to Gill.I would agree - seems like Nebraska is a BIG step up for someone (Gill) with only a couple of years of experience at a MAC school. Good luck Nebraska ... I hope you make the right decision this time!
