Guest HoopsManiac Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Well, facing another team with wins you can count on one hand from a season ago and the Zips go 0-2. Yes, the JC transfers helped RMU top the Zips but 30 turnovers in a game and 17 in the 1st half. Can we have a little leadership out on the court and act like we've played this game before. I'm sure Coach Kennedy was breaking things back home as she listened to the radio broadcast.........I know I was. On a positive note, congratulations Coach and I hope all is well. Now with the trip to the Bahamas to face the Sooners and either the Gators or Hawkeyes. An 0-4 start seems quite evident. Maybe if our athletes would take a moment and realize what has been given to them in terms of a D-I scholarship they might take a little more pride in their play because I'm disgusted and I know the coaches are too. Guest OldFan Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 I have been following the program for years, and I too was disappointed as I listened to the game yesterday. Sounded like Tommy G was disappointed as well. Hang in there Tommy, they'll get some more wins for ya! I agree that it is sad they lost to two teams this weekend they could have beat. Let's hope for better things when they return from the Bahamas. Congrats to coach as well! Quote
Guest ***GUEST_Z.I.P. Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 The best things about this thread may be the show of disappointment, and that in fact SOMEONE out there cares enough about this program to express how sad it's lack of progress is. I hope the core of folks who follow the team won't get so disgusted that they stop paying attention altogether. Keep the faith. Kelly has the background and ability to build the program. What she needs is a group of ballplayers who can take it to the next level. That's the crux of the problem right now. But I believe better times are ahead. Quote
