I know that I am. This 3-18 team should have beaten the Flushes as well as OUon the road, only losing by 2pts in both games. If Newell drops his 2 free throws in OT Can't would have been toast. There is so very little that seperatesthe top dogs from the bottom feeders in this conference that every road game scares me.This one in particular just worries the crap out of me.

The underclassmen have been stepping it up. Bardo is improving every game, B. McKnight had 18 points on Wednesday, and Nate continues to be the motivating force behind the team. The injuries are piling up quickly, and we don't really have a break to rest them.Maybe we need to sit one injured player out every game, in a rotation. Every game, Dambrot says he won't play our injured guys, and every game they play extended minutes. That has to stop.

My thoughts....Would have been nice to see Can't State blow this one. It does make it look like this game will certainly not be as easy as first expected. Was nice to see Ohio get another loss. They seem to have a knack for losing games they should not lose over the last couple of years. Some of the young guys are indeed showing "improvement", but without guys like Wood and Dials, we would struggle to win any games down the stretch this year. And as far as next year goes, I'm still trying to figure out how we are going to have at least 5 guys who are truly showing that they are "there", and can make significant contributions coming out of the gate in November. I've been saying this all along, but C. McKnight is the only guy besides Wood who is capable of making a significant contribution on both ends of the floor in the paint. Hopefully, his confidence has grown after this last game, and he is now ready to bring those contributions every night. We won't win a MAC championship without another post player. And, Jeremiah, as predicted, is really starting to show signs of wearing down. Unfortunately, our hopes of winning the MAC East title took a big blow with that loss on Wednesday. We are now a game behind Can't, PLUS they have already played their road games at Miami, and at Ohio. We still have to play those two games. It's not looking good right now. We'll definitely need some help from elsewhere.

Chris McKnight had 18 pts, not Brett, I think Brett only play 3 or 4 minutes

So you're telling me that Chris McKnight, not Brett, hit 6 threes?

Yep. Both McK's can hit the 3, but Brett seems a bit better at it so far.

I'm nervous now. Wood is out. Ced might not play. Dials is hurt. Unless we have several underclassmen suddenly transform into leaders or at least solid contributors, we're in some deep trouble.
Please...Put Bardo and C. McKnight in, they will do just fine, you also have Carroll tooGive some time to McNees, Goddard, B. McKnight and Roberts, throw Sallee in there tooYou guys act like these guys have no clue, some of them (Sallee and Goddard have been there from 3-5 years) when they get in, hell doesnt freeze over.... :thumb:
