=>Howdy ho folks! The battle for one of the two open byes commences again tomorrow night in John D. Millett Hall on the campus of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. More important than a bye is the coveted #3 seed (AKA...stay the hell away from Can't and the other 2 good MAC East teams who will finish in the #4 and #5 spots).Last time these two met, Miami was the walking wounded. Akron got the long awaited revenge. Now, Akron comes in with the bandaged and broken bodies. Miami is now the hunter. For those who will not be in attendance, be reminded that the game is scheduled for ONN.******MAC Tourney If Today (02/18/08):First Round (Cleveland): Wednesday, March 12, 2008GM 1: 8. However, given that games run long and there is a 30 minutes warmup between each game, it is unlikely GM 2, 3, and 4 will start on time.@ Ohio U. beat Miami head-2-head.# EMU beat BUGS head-2-head.$ Toledo beat CMU head-2-head.MAC Tiebreaker Information:http://mac-sports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPS...p;ATCLID=741859

Johnnyzip....or we'll need guys like Quade and Bardo to block some shots in there. Otherwise, without Jeremiah, we have very little in the way of post defense. And the rebounding problems are REALLY concerning me in a game like this. I think we'll need to shoot over 50% to win this one.
without jeremiah? haha. he is by far our worst post defender. i believe that it will be up to the dials/linhart combo the rest of the year. but i wouldnt be afraid to put conyers in there for this game against miami on pollitz. he did a fine job on him as well at our place.
