scottditzen Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 Blog of guy who checked out over a hundred NCAA stadiumshttp://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=htt...l%3Den%26sa%3DNCan't State: Dix Stadium Obviously one of the most unfortunately named stadiums in these contiguous United States, Dix Stadium is also one of the more unfortunate fields in Ohio. The "stadium" was opened in 1969 and has as of yet still not sold out for a game. If anyone is suprised that the Golden flushes cannot fill a 30,000 seat stadium, then I have some good news for you: Can't State plans on removing the seats from the North and South end of the field in order to shrink its size down a bit. The visiting side of the field was also the same seating capacity as that of my high school soccer field. The place is a dump, and to be honest, I don't know how Can't St. manages to continue on as a Div. I-A football team. I would imagine that renaming the stadium should be first on the list of things to do rather than shrinking its seating capacity, but I'm also lucky to be holding a bachelor's degree. Quote
