Dix Stadium, home of the Can't State Golden flushes, is considered one of the better Midwest Athletic Conference facilities around. This fall, the school will add one of Daktronics' latest innovations, a XD-X LED video scoreboard. It is 60 feet high and should be easily visible from all 30,000 seats. The video capabilities alone are 36 x 20, pretty good size for a place like Dix. The new board is expected to be in place in time for the home opener Sept. 13 against Delaware. With this purchase, Can't State is stepping up in class. It is the same board used by Auburn, the NFL Pittsburgh Steelers and baseball's Kansas City Royals. That will be the second game the Golden flushes play in Ohio in 2008. On August 30, they will face Boston College at the Browns' stadium in Cleveland. Quote
