Ennis, who transferred into Lake Forest Academy this fall, is one of the top 2011 prospects in the state of Illinois. Ennis, a 6'0" point guard, is a true floor general who delivers with his strong handle, court instincts and his ability to drop shots with range. Ennis is coming off of a strong run on the travel team circuit with Team Takeover. Lake Forest Academy head coach Matt Vaughn confirmed the commitment by Ennis to Akron, and noted that the family was really excited, and that they were very comfortable with the coaching staff at Akron. This coming season, Ennis will team with fast-rising Class of 2012 star Charles Harris and 2010 stars Michael Banczer and Remy N'Diaye on what will be another strong Lake Forest Academy team.
