Maybe UA can pay up to replace the beat up chain-link fence surrounding the track. Put in brick and iron all around, like it is along Union street. It's the least they can do for a program at this level, and it would go a long way toward making campus look more appealing from Exchange.

Yeah, like that time football won the MAC Championship, soccer won a NCAA championship, basketball won the MAC multiple times and was in the MAC Championship game every year. Totally a losing period. Not like the era when the Z logo was being introduced, where none of those things are happening in the major sports.

The problem is that the NFL League Office never legitimately qualified as a tax-exempt non-profit organization. A legitimate trade organization must “further the industry or profession it represents" to qualify as a tax-exempt non-profit. The NFL League Office competes against other professional football organizations (ask anyone who worked for the USFL, XFL, etc.) and not for the benefit of professional football in general. Each of the 32 NFL teams "donates" more than $1 million apiece every year just to pay the NFL League Office CEO's $40+ million salary with a primary purpose of keeping the NFL brand from being challenged by other professional football organizations. This inequity represents one of the few things that citizens of widely varying political beliefs (conservative, liberal, libertarian, tea party) can agree on. The NFL was smart to give up this political favor before it was rightly taken away from them. It was a point of resentment with the general public, whether or not they understood the technicality that it was just the league office and not the whole NFL.

The majority of the income is going to the teams that make up the league, who then pay taxes on it. Rodger Goodell pays taxes on his hefty salary. The NFL donates some income to charitable orgs and has legitimate expenses that have to deal with the development/safety of the game. What's the problem again?

My thoughts: Stupid. Not even a directional name like NEOU. Directional state school names sounds generic. So many things need work with the U/sports/fanbase, and a lot of it deals with a lack of identity. Starting over from scratch sounds amazing. /sarcasm
