  1. Buck Zip I've refused to get into this I'm a bigger Zips fan than you BS with you, but dude you really need to go away! Defending the station and throwing Akron and its fans under the bus in your post was the final straw for me. You are the Zips fan that I for one don't want on this board or rooting for Akron. Given the choice you'll f*&K Akron and praise OSU -- as you have proven to do again. This time you didn't even back into it -- you just came out and said nobody cares about Akron football we should be happy the station put as much of the game on as they can -- it was just a warm up for my "other" team anyhow.

  2. I called to voice my displeasure and e-mailed them too. Cleveland TV is the TV Akron -- to turn the game off at the most exciting point was bush league. I asked them to never play an Akron game again -- this game was supposed to be on ESPN Regional and we would have seen the whole thing if they would have just not put it on our local ABC affiliate.

  3. There have been a lot of quarterbacks in this league that didn't start out well. I'd like to believe that a quarterback in the right offense has a better opportunity than in one where he is forced to play a style he is uncomfortable in. We witnessed this here in Cleveland when they tried to make Jeff Garcia a drop back passer. I'm not sure Charlie will ever be a starter in this league again, but I do believe he was picked up by a team that has a coach with a proven track record with QBs and whose judgement I place above those on this board who essentially have called Charlie a hack. Not to mention, I think a team with a running game and west coast style offense is a better fit for Charlie. I'll be rooting for him in Seattle and wish him the best. Even though I'm a Browns season ticket holder -- part of me would love to see him end up starting the game against Cleveland and blowing them out.

  4. Hey JohnnyZip -- where are you celebrating your one year anniversary of posting on this board? Welcome aboard the bandwagon we've been waiting for you. :moon: If Edelman doesn't scare y'all then you weren't in the stands at Can't last year watching the Zips try to find a clue how to stop him. IMHO that was the most embarassing loss I've seen in a long while. The Big Ten/Big Twelve etc. thumpings I can live with a lot easier than the beat down they served up to Akron last year. I hope JD shows them the tape from last year's game in film sessions this week.

  5. I hate it when posters say -- this team was real good or that team was real good or that qb is going to make a lot of people look bad this year. well guess what he had rushed for 118 yards prior to this game 59 against Indian State and 59 at Western Michigan -- some teams are going to contain him too and guess what if we did we win this game. Apparently there was some game film out there on stopping him from running. I hate to say it, but his rushing was very similar to that miserable game at Can't last year.

  6. Um McFly -- how many points did this vaunted defense just give up to Indiana? 41 -- yep this defense is really good. C'mon this team couldn't stop this team when they knew exactly what they were running -- Lewis! This was exactly like last year's Can't game -- my guess is this team is an underdog next week and loses by 7. They just can't stop this kind of offense.
