Along with protesting and making our voices heard about this outrage - I also feel cheated out of celebrating a great season with 2006-2007 Zips basketball team. The way the Miami game ended we were blind-sided by that ending and who would of thought we would never get to root for our Zips again. I have been trying to think of a proper conclusion to this season that helps us celebrate the great ride this team brought us on this year and couldn't think of anything. Leave it to my 12 year-old son, Kyle, to come up with a great suggestion. His idea is to have a final game at the JAR - ZIPS vs. the AK-Rowdies. It would give us a chance to cheer for the Dru and Romeo one last time even if it would be a light-hearted competition. It could also be used as a fund-raiser for the Rowdies - charge a few bucks to get in - to help make that organization even stronger next year. What do you think???
