Wow, reading these comments you would think Can't beat us in the MAC tournament and ended our season. Does anyone remember we are still tied for 1st in the MAC East? Yes, this loss hurts, but there is no reason to think we won't have the #1 or 2 seed going into the tournament. This is a different era in Zips b-ball under Dambrot, so I'm sure even after a disappointing loss like last night he will have the team prepared for the second half of our MAC season. The good news is we still play Can't at home (which may determine the #1 seed), so leave last night in the past because we are still in the driver seat for post-season play.

KD did reference the #1 seed in the MAC tournament by winning out at home and splitting on the road. The thing we have to remember is that winning the MAC regular season means nothing if we can't win the MAC tournament...history has shown that it is very difficult for more than one MAC team to make it to March Madness. However, this may be one of those rare years that our record will be strong enough for a bid regardless of the outcome in the tourney. UT and OU are the only other competition in the conference.

You go for the win on the road, and for the tie at home...it was the right call regardless of kicker's status.

One more thing for the Can't fans...not only was their turnout pitiful (where were all of your "Fear This" shirts on Saturday?), but they got a taste of what a real Div I arena is like. The JAR makes the MAC Center look like a glamorized high school gym! Keep telling yourselves the game didn't mean anything on Saturday...that's why you'll be bounced from the MAC tourney. This is the Year of the Roo!
