At face value its easy to think that way. Unfortunately there is a melt down with our players and coaching staff that is occuring(major internal strife). Thankfully it will be the coaching staff getting out of dodge, not the players.

He sure we did. We are highly overrated. We have some very great athletes on the field but our coaching staff is probably -THE- worst in the nation.

Your offensive play calling was very nice. I was highly impressed with the way your coaches were able to manipulate our defense. You guy's have a good quarterback and some very sure-handed receivers. Your ability to get the ball down the field will be the key to winning the MAC (You did a good job of it today). I saw Hixon get hurt on a punt, hope he's ok but looked like a bad knee injury. Thanks for the game and good luck for the rest of the season.

Please do not laugh but we are fairly proud of our two Vanderbilt victories. Knocking you guys off last year was a very big win as well (you guys were favored by 7)... When we beat Vanderbilt they were favored by 8..... With regards to upsetting a favorite based on points I believe those are the two biggest wins in school history.

I got a feeling we are in for a real treat like we were last year when MT pulled away with a 7 point victory. This game will be just as close as the last one with Akron throwing all over the field while MT trys to counter with its improved running attack and hopefully deadly passing attack. Last week Akron gave Purdue all they wanted and played a good game. MT literally gave North Texas more than they probably dreamed for with 5 turnovers only to lose the game by 7 points. If MT keeps commiting silly turnovers and mistakes expect Akron to explode and win by 3 or more Touchdowns but if each team plays a sound game look for MT to come away with a close win at home. Line is something to the nature of +6 to Akron. If I were a betting man my money would be on Akron, but not much. Regardless of the outcome let's pray each team comes out injury free and good fun is had. GO MT
