Yeah there was a little thing on the front page. I was very annoyed last week, when they failed to have ANYTHING on the front page the day after the Zips got their 20th win. Nothing until the 5th page! And yet, they put something about BARRY BONDS on the front page that day. What a joke.

I happened to look at Futch the exact second that it happened (I was in the front row) and it really appeared to me that all he did was move his arm up and the Cant guy walked into it. It was CLEARLY not a thrown elbow, whatsoever. It was very obvious. To me, it almost seemed like that one particular ref, the one that called the Futch foul, was trying to singlehandely make the Zips lose the game. This guy was calling every little touch the Zips made! It was ridiculous.

I completely agree with this. I dont understand why Linhart gets so much time at all. All he ever does is foul people and score about 2 points. He looked really good earlier in the season, but not much at all lately. Peterson is a senior, he plays good, he should get more time.

I dont really see how liking OSU would make me a traitor. I mean, I want them to do good I guess, but I definitely follow the Zips more. OSU is our only big 10 school, so its really the only national attention we get here. I would love it if the Zips could be that huge.

Ive never been to a Mac Tournament game in years past. I was just wondering if they were going to be selling cheap tickets at the JAR. Is that how people will be getting tickets? I cannot miss it this year.

I know for me personally, every game Ive worked this year Ive been down on the steps next to the front row, and its much easier for me to look at the side scoreboards instead of craning my neck way up to look at the big screen up top. I think more people in the reserved seats may look at the side boards than you think. Its only easy to look up at the big board if youre in the upper level.

I dont think I could really do anything. Im just an usher, we really dont have any part in how the lighting and stuff is set up. We just show up, do nothing, watch the game, and go home! Its great stuff. I make good money and get to watch the game in the front row. I really really hope there arent more damn Can't fans than Akron there though. If we cant even have a fan advantage in our own arena, then there is a problem.

Dude, this is GENIUS!! I am an usher for the basketball games, Ive worked every one except two this year, and I can honestly say this would pump the crowd up so much. Seriously, if somebody could pull this off, I think it would make a huge difference. Picturing that scene you described, compared to the usual stuff, it would just be so amazing. Especially if everybody wasnt expecting it. You should tell more people about this!
