I'm actually really excited about the future. I think with the new AD, he seems to really want to get every program winning. Nothing against Mike Thomas...I love Mike Thomas and think if he would have still been here, he would have probably done the same thing...but Mack Brown is ready to keep turning everything around. I hope they find a coach that will help us out and that we all get along with. For me, that is really important, I want a coach that we can relate to...but can also motivate us. They are probably going to have to convince any candidate that they are willing to put courts on campus and willing to give us what we need in order to get better.I think that we all want to get better, and thats what matters most.

Well, zipalong. We have a women's tennis team for the same reasons we have every other sport. What you said hurt more than you might think....just to let you know.Coach Fox wasn't paid very well...and he let us know that more than a few times. We had the smallest budget out of all of the teams at Akron. We dont have tennis courts on campus. Most people dont even know Akron has a tennis team. Well, we do. And I think that we will improve.But i wanna know if Coach Wright left or not. It hasnt been on GoZips.com.

And since you counted rifle for us and women's golf against us...we can count women's tennis since they dont have a women's tennis program. We'll take the extra win...thank you

OK, I am not band expert by any mean. I just like sports. But i'd recommend some newer songs. Change the songs each semester to whats popular. That will get the students into it, and the band members would probably be really excited to play them. Imagine the band playing a lil bit of Riding Dirty or something like that. Haha, just a thought

I think that baseball just got a new coach, if i'm correct? I dunno though.I think they are bringing in a lot of recruits for next year too. I think they are a young team and are looking toward the future.I'm not going to comment on the women's tennis aspect of things since I am a member and that would not be a smart thing on my part.I have also heard about women's soccer, but not a whole lot.

Glad to see that someone noted the hotness of the akron women's tennis team :)But in all seriousness, I have enjoyed reading this topic. Got some laughs. I dont really know about adding women's golf or bowling, but hockey would be fun to have, I think. Men's tennis would be cool too. But we'd actually need some facilities. We dont have any tennis facilities on campus, so I think that'd be the first step.A men's swimming team would be something to field too. Or men's and women's gymnastics. I just dont think that bowling is something that Akron needs. I really hope that we dont field a bowling team.
