I watched a few of the Zips matches on mac-sports .com...the ladies were not very good this year, Plus the MAC was one of the tougher DI conferences in vb this season and it will be even tougher next year as a lot of good freshman have entered the mac conference. I was surprised that NIU lost (they were killed in the third set and lost a heart breaker in the fourth set). Western Michigan gave Washington a hard time and Ball State hung in there for a while but Louisville was the better team. BTW there were two big upsets in the tourney. OSuckeyes upset Tennessee at knoxville in 5 sets and Kansas State upset #2Nebraska at Lincoln in 5 sets. http://www.ncaa.com/interactive-bracket/volleyball-women/d1 IMHO Rally scoring is much more exciting than side-out... Its bringing/brought a lot more fans and players to this awesome sport.
