According to the reports in practice, Bill Lynch has done an amazing job in raising the quality of play at Indiana(HOO HOO!). I know deep down you are a big believer in the current favorite to win Big Ten Coach of the Year Bill Lynch. He likes to use tough love on his players. His motivation helped them "Defend the Rock" with dominating performances in the first few games. Those games were not as close as the score indicated.You have to believe! You have to have faith! I am offering all who have posted in this thread one last chance to take back your statements. I promise that I will not mock you when IU soars into Akron, OH and puts on an offensive clinic. Bill Lynch continued to spread his knowledge tothe team and it will pay major dividends on Saturday. Now is your opportunity to jump about the IU football bandwagon as they continue at a pace for an undefeated season. We cannot be stopped. Today, I would like to introduce you to Demetrius McCray. He is one of the top 5 running backs in all of college football. He currently is averaging 6.1 yards per carry. This means that IU only has to run the ball twice in order to get a first down plus 2.2 yards! First downs are guaranteed! We probably will let our punter stay home and concentrate on his studies because we likely won't punt all game. 6.1 yards per carry puts him higher than the career averages of Red Grange who many consider the greatest running back of all time.So here it is. DEFENSE wins championships. I have that written on my "Glorious IU Football" wall in my basement. It's the credo that former MAC coach Bill Lynch has instilled into his team. He instructs his coaches to teach it. It is what separates the hunter(IU) vs. the hunted(Akron). Our championship level defense decided they had to make a stand and they did. The problem is that our offense did not score the 40+ points that Bill Lynch requested. He has fixed that problem this week in practice(see practice report above) and it will pay massive dividends in the game on Saturday. If you had played us last Saturday, we probably don't score 40 points but times have changed in Bloomington.I apologize if I sound cocky. I don't mean to be. I am just aware of the exponential increase in play of the HOO HOO HOOSIERS! I don't blame you all for doubting what I am saying. You haven't seen the practice reports from the previous week. It is ok. There are certain names that every household in America will be introduced to on Saturday. I won't ruin the surprise for you guys but a couple stars will be born on the gridiron in the municipality of Akron.HOO HOO HOOSIERS!

I'm a realist. I'll admit that Penn State was better last year but they have lost several key players while IU has only gotten stronger and has closed the gap. Joe Paterno is the past and Bill Lynch is now a superior coach. He knows what he is doing. We've steadily improved from our first game to our second and I expect the current favorite to win Big Ten Coach of the Year Bill Lynch to continue to show that he's got it all figured out. Just wait. Indiana may not have the history of Penn State but the future is just as bright. We've got talent who played at Florida on the team! Florida won the national title last year! Upgrade! Yes! I can promise to all those Zip fans about to be demoralized on Saturday that I have never been here before today. Your website was posted on a popular internet message board for fans of the most up and coming football program in the country. I have come here to spread the word that IU football and IU basketball are going to return to national prominence. It has already started. The Hoosiers are currently 2-0 which which ties the best start in IU football history. Your defensive lineman will soon learn what a red streak looks like as our stable of running backs put up 3 touchdowns to cement a victory. We've already dominated a fellow MAC conference member and victory is all but guaranteed.
