Clayton Moore="The Truth In Action" , enough said. Are you ready for some football!!!

If I can "wake up" in time, I plan to watch both QB's very closely at the spring game (like a lot of us). That makes this year's spring game one of the more intriguing in recent years. ZipZipHooray! from your knowledge of Clayton and Mississippi/SEC football, I assume you have a close connection to him. One thing I've wondered about Clayton is whether the colder weather might have an effect on his play. Some QB's, particularly those with smaller hands (not saying this is the case with Clayton), can have issues throwing in poor weather. Do you have any insight on this? I don't have any insite on that but I would hope that all the practicing they are doing will get him adjusted to the cold~I guess we will just have to wait and see there, although I don't think it will cramp his style!

Everybody knows juco quarterbacks never pan out. What about Cam Newton and Chris Relf, the senior QB at Mississippi State that won 9 games in the SEC last year, not to mention Brett Favre is another QB with a very modest background. The fact that Clayton Moore had over a 100 QB rating and that he led his JUCO team to win the championship, and also won the MVP award of the JUCO bowl from Mississippi (which is vastly rich with D-1 transfers that have done well in the SEC) shows that he is a winner. Considering we didn't win a single game last year he has to be nothing but an improvement for us.

My research on him will come during this season. He has yet to play a down of Div I football. From what I have read his HS team that he was QB for went to state championship and won. At Gulf Coast Community College, he was the starting QB and they also won the state championship and the Mississippi Bowl. I think we can expect really good things from this kid!

Ditto. I think this kid Clayton Moore is going to surprise everyone. Why don't you guys who are being negative about him do a little more research before coming up with an opinion. I am being very positive and agree that we can only go up from here~~ We will all see the truth in action whenever he finally gets to play!
