This is so very typical. People complaining about the condition of the Rubber Bowl should be thankful that you don't have a track running around the field. At North Texas' Fouts Field (capacity 30,500), our seating is in different zip codes. Can you say really far away. It does get loud in there, though, as it did two weeks ago when we shut down SMU, winning 24-6.We get plenty of rain at our games, too.Have fun tomorrow.By the way, I've really enjoyed reading your posts. A good natured forcast for this game! We have no reason to believe we can play with Akron, based on our miserable performance vs Tulsa last week. However, I believe we will open up the playbook like we did vs SMU. If that happens, then look out! Jamario Thomas will have a break out game, and Woody Wilson has blazing speed at QB. I read about your problems in the kicking game an overall special teams. We have an outstanding punter (Spencer) and solid special teams. You should probably win this game, but it will be close. We have a great running back (Jamario Thomas) and solid recievers. SMU mistakes on special teams is why we beat them 24-6.

The University of North Texas Mean Green will play Akron this Saturday! We beat SMU at Fouts Field two weeks ago in our home opener. We did not fire a shot vs Tulsa last Saturday! We lost to the Texas Longhorns in our opener in Austin, Texas, 56-7.I am from Ohio (born in Dayton), am a Buckeye's fan and loved it when they tromped all over Texas, 24-7.I love the state of Ohio.
