  1. Brother initially played at West Point for two seasons and transferred. It was a multiple style offense, he did a little bit of everything, but spent most of the time under center in pro style sets with at least one tight end on the field, but the team had enough weapons to spread it out. This Tyrone team was very balanced and could do a lot of things well with Franco leading the offense despite the lack of size up front. I've said it on other threads, but Akron's got themselves a stud at QB if he transitions ok.
  2. Because some of the best schools in PA are smaller school programs. That Franco kid you have, was the AP player of the year in AA. I'm sure all of you of heard of Darrelle Revis' alma mater Aliquippa, they play AA, but they play up and only have the numbers of a Single A school. The classifications really don't mean much in PA in terms of individual talent.
  3. I graduated a few years ahead of Steve, and went to just about every single game this season, and he's improved by leaps and bounds compared to that highlight tape, including Tyrone's right at a AA state Championship this season. Akron's getting an amazing kid in Franco; great student and a class act. Expect big things from him.
