  1. For those of you talking about attendance, this game would have been sold completely out had it not been on a darn Wednesday. Besides, it was probably the most hostile environment your team has seen (I'm pretty sure Coach Dambrot said that.) Sorry for butchering the spelling on his name. As for the glowsticks, that was absurd. In no game, against no opponent is that acceptable. As for the game, I gotta give huge props to you for your performance this evening. Down big in an environment unlike any the MAC has seen in a long time* and you pulled together for the W. Great game, I have no doubt we'll see you at the Q for all the marbles. *The environment at the JAR was great, but we had the advantage of 6,000 more people. Pound for pound, it may have been more equal, but numbers don't lie. I'd like to thank the Akron fans for making the trip to the Convo. Was a little disappointed at no Rowdies, but there you go. I talked to some fans from Akron after the game. Classy people. Had a lot of fun tonight in a loss. Do us a favor, don't lose another game. Then, we can make the MAC a 2 bid league For those of you who were able to attend, what did you think of the Convo?
  2. This should be a great game with an atmosphere as electric as the JAR, but much bigger. For those of you Akron fans on the fence about going, go. You'll enjoy a college game at the Convo. I posted on Bobcatattack about fan behavior, and I'd like to extend it to you guys as well. http://www.bobcatattack.com/messageboard/t...103085#FirstNew While I have expressed my disdain for Akron on multiple occasions, I really do hope that those of you who come down tomorrow enjoy the game. I met some of your students who made the trip down last year, and they were all class acts. I've always thought it was far more fun bantering with another student section anyways. Will you be having a traveling student section for this year?
  3. Came close once: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toledo_War (Did this for a public speaking project freshman year.) I agree with you: this would not be a victory for the entire state of Ohio. It would benefit Ohio because of obvious reasons, but I think the MAC has some legetimacy to gain if one of its teams pulls the upset. After all, you did beat us once and almost did in the championship game.
  4. If you thought that the rivalry we've built between us has been big the past few years, next season it's going to be even bigger. With what you guys are returning and us bringing back everybody (including some new faces), the games at the JAR, the Convo, and (I'm going to go out on a limb here ) the Q, I think we'll see some of the most intense matchups the MAC has seen in a while. Hope we both have a non-conference start like the Cats did this year. Two bid league.
