The Zips have a tough team. It could have gone either way. I see you guys winning some games this year. I also look forward to the game two years from now when the Zips come to Cajun Field. To the surprise of some, we are not "Lafayette City College". The Cajuns have won two bowl games in a row against the Mountain West and Conference USA for a reason. Akron has a solid team and they lost to a solid team in a close game. See you in a couple of years!

That was a great game, but I don't believe that you will see that kind of running by Broadway in this one. The fact is, he doesn't have to do that anymore. The backfield that he has this year has taken a lot of the pressure off of him. The backfield is pretty sick and he does not need to take those risks. I watched some video of Akron and the D-Line looked strong, but the speed of the Cajun backfield and our slot receiver when they have a little space will probably lead to a Cajun advantage. Broadway can't hold the ball long with those defensive ends and he probably won't. He will get it to the stable of fast backs and they will show you what they can do.

35-24 Louisiana The Ragin' Cajun speed will be the difference. We have running backs that can really move and a dangerous slot receiver.
