Zipster
Here are my views as we enter the last half of the season: First of all, I am SURPRISED at how well the Zips have survived the loss of Jeremiah. I am IMPRESSED by the toughness and resiliency of this team. I LOVE the fact that they play hard the entire game. I am IMPRESSED by the different people stepping up every game. I am surprised by their continued defensive improvement. Can the Zips be there at the end for a MAC East championship???? What are your thoughts? Have the Zips met your expectations so far or have they already exceeded them?
Guest rtn
The coaching has made a real difference. The team is clearly playing harder, having some fun, accentuating a defensive posture/rebounding. While the core of the team is the same (sans Tarver), they are playing amazingly well. I knew that Wood would continue to be a monstrous presence on the boards, but am extremely encouraged by the performance of the other starters in his absence. The bench has been incredible overall in their "stepping" up to meet the task at hand. I don't know how far they can go, and with MAC teams having great difficulty on the road and great success at home (except for the Marshall Turds-yahoo!), I guess we'll wait and see. Thus far I am exuberant about what appears to be a VERY bright future. Go Zips!!! Beat CMU (and all others in our way!!!)
