Lee Adams
i was at the 'cuse last week...thought there was hope...obviously the 'cuse is as bad as everyone says...you guys can rag on me all you want...and you can try to make excuses for injuries...this is the same movie, with the same ending that we have watched for 3 years now...doesn't matter who is healthy or who is hurt...bsu did exactly what everyone else will do...dump the game back on CJ because he is what he has always been...a mediocre MAC QB...when he is presssured or needs to make plays,he panics and.... can't run...other than Bowser and Jones(when he plays on the O) nobody can get open or catch the ball...i see why West Virginia didn't want #12...he has 2 left hands...god love Bryan Williams.. he keeps the D respectable and is still exciting on returns...Graham can play...great pick...the ground game is what it is...they obviously won't win running however...K.Grant...what does he do?...sorry folks...they have played 2 good teams and gotten blown out...only 12 months to opening day at Info... zen
yeah, forget the injuries, because that's inconvenient to you raggin on the team.Forget syracuse too. When your brain can't get a grip on reality, it's easier to get reality to fit into your brain by discarding all the possible facts, and even the dynamic variables, so that your view stands up timeless. ZachTheZip
Our receivers have butterfingers. Those passes were thrown perfectly, but instead of catching them, they tipped them to the other team.
zipsbandman
Before we mention the Syracuse win, let it be noted that they are getting HAMMERED 38-6 at home against Penn State, and that's just the halftime score. I will be shocked if they win a game this season. We are in for a long year. Kudos to those at the bowl who sat through that in the rain. At the end of the third quarter, Syracuse has 55 total yards of offense against PSU. Helps put things in perspective. No excuses, our D is terrible. I think it's more related to the 3-3-5 scheme than the personnel. Fault the coaches for that one. I don't think having a healthier D line will make much of a difference either. UA just doesn't suck as badly...

UA just doesn't suck as badly...And I suppose Ball St. sucks too. There were way too many mistakes made today to beat a good, quality team plain and simple. The WR's DID (especially Bruce and Milller) make critical errors. But it's just a ridiculous knee jerk reaction to start calling for JD's head right now. There's a lot of football to be played yet. Having said that, the Army game could very well be a turning point for JD's tenure here. It's a game we should win, regardless of the injuries. If we make the same mistakes as we did today, we'll very likely lose to one of the worst FBS teams in the country. And 1-3 might be too big of a hole too climb out of. If the pressure wasn't on already, it surely is on this week in practice. I won't let a loss to what is likely the cream of the MAC get me too bent out of shape, but a loss to Army probably would. skip-zip
I'm only a little bothered by the fact that some people are seeming very critical of our team right now after we just lost a very hard-fought game to a very, very good football team. I don't get it. I mean, this was no upset. And for the most part, I think it went pretty much as most of us predicted. This game was only a tipped ball or two away from being a different game. I'm not feeling all that bad today (except for my hangover).

'zen' seems a bit frustrated as we all are...i think what keeps popping up is the reality that we can't beat the 'good' teams...interceptions,fumbles,dropped passes...when it continually happens against 'good' teams..face it, you're not as good as the 'good' teams...3 years and counting...
