I know I'm really late to the party on this one, but please, no numbers on helmets. Maybe this is born out of my hatred for Alabama, but I just don't think they ever can possibly look good. I think logos work much better than plain text as well. The block "AKRON" lettering looks classic, but I'm not really into classic when it comes to uni's.Oh, and the urine-colored Oregon Jersey is the worst.

I dont understand what you old people have against the oregon jerseys. Those jerseys are saweet. If UA had a new uniform like that, I guarantee more students would want to come here and become AK Rowdies.

back up that guarantee with $$$ for the team to buy the Unis out of your own pockets if the Rowdies don't atleast double.

thats not a fair deal. That's the equivalent to getting 10% of the undergraduate student body to join. ( of course, that percent would be obviously slightly less if more students enrolled, but my point still stands).

I know people from the UA athletic department are part of ZipsNation, or at least check us out occassionally. Can you guys pass along the above uniform designs to the proper decision makers? Additionally, from a PR perspective, it could potentially be a nice shout-out to the Zips' fanbase, perhaps advertising that someone from ZipsNation helped design the uniforms. Somehow, some way, we need to get this community more involved with the university. This could be one very easy way to do just that!(Besides, the uniforms are top-shelf! We'd have arguably the sharpest uniforms in the nation to go along with the nicest, "I didn't say the largest," football stadium in the country!)

^Completly agree with the above, he's absolutely correct. The community NEEDS to be involved.I would love to see Akron rock those new uniforms in the new stadium.I think they could sell a lot of jerseys in that opening game!!

Maybe a nice good hearted future hall of fame alumni could chip in to hook us up with the new uni's.

I don't typically like the modern look OR the all the same color look (unless white). But these are the great!!!I do prefer the blue/gold, blue/white, white/blue and white/white.I hope these designs got into the hands of a decision maker at Adidas/UA

Those are extremely cool. I love gold jerseys. I was ecstatic when we switched back to true gold from the pee-yellow color we went with for a while there. However, I've wished for about a decade now we'd play on the gold in our colors more. Especially in basketball. Gold basketball unis are the coolest things on the street. Next year when we get our GOLD LBJ23's (I'm crossing my fingers that our marketing dept is finally going to see the light and get in touch with the street a little) I'm gonna buy 2 of them! Same with these cool football jerseys. We definitely need to raise our "coolness" factor with the kids. Make them and I will buy!

I like the gold top and blue bottom concept, that is nice!I also like the white helmet white top idea too...too bad we don;t have money for something like that though.The only requirement would be to make those numbers way smaller...our uniforms look so horrible with those numbers. Lol. But we were wearing the whites against Miami 2 years ago in Cleveland. THOSE are the cursed jerseys! In the golds we almost pulled off the big upset of Nevada! During Dru & Rome's junior years we wore the golds for all home games the entire second half of the season and we went undefeated wearing them! Then we got upset by someone (Ohio?) in the quarter finals of the MAC tourney in Cleveland while wearing... WHITE! Why, oh, why didn't we stick with the lucky golds?!

You're absolutely right. But RootforRoo44 and I had gotten off on a bit of a rabbit trail. The two of us were actually discussing our basketball jerseys. As far as I am aware we've never worn gold jerseys in football.
