UAZipster0305
The UA men's team beat a solid NIU squad 4-0 on the road with Zakuani getting a hat trick. NIU had many votes in the most recent ranking. Great win...keep it rolling! http://www.gozips.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_...;ATCLID=1596557NIU is by far the second strongest team in the MAC. ZachTheZip
That should put us back in the top 5.Great job guys! keep working on bringing that MAC championship to Akron once again!
johnnyzip84
That's the way to stomp out ANY notion that the MAC is even going to have a race this year. Awesome guys!
w00t
Nice, we needed this win, but I'm still pessimistic about what our seed will be like in the tournament, despite our NSCAA poll ranking. Our last four opponents before NIU have a total of seven wins.
MDZip
NIU knocked off #2 SMU very recently so there are not an opponent to take lightly. This is a big win, especially at their place which has been the most dangerous MAC road venue for us.

Disappointed to see Notre Dame go down again, that doesn't help us, but West Virginia does. Also, guess Ken Lolla is putting together a pretty good program at Louisville, so while I'm grateful for all he did here, from what I've seen over the last few years, I'd take Caleb Porter anytime. I just want to see Indiana continue to do well so that they are NEVER tempted to come calling.
