skip-zip
Ok..for the sake of discussion (since we have two weeks off)...I was actually just thinking and talking about A. Allen, and thought it might be a good time to assess where we are at as a team going into next year. Heck..we have a chance to win the East this year....but, I think that next year looks even better on paper, based on where I think our key losses will rank against what teams normally lose in a given year.Offense (2):M. Poindexter TEA. Jones WRWOW....this looks awesome. But of course, this is based on A. Allen being our #1 running back, even though he is injured.Defense (5):M. Graham DBB. Anderson DBB Williams DBK. Grant LBE. Lively DLThe defense concerns me, of course. We are not a good defense, and lose some key guys. As I've said previously, JD did one heck of a job rebuilding our offense over a couple of year period. Will the defense follow the same path and surprise us all? I sure hope so. So he and Bowser should have two years of giving MAC corners fits.Of course, Kennedy and Johnson (but not Nixon) will be missed.
MDZip
It is a long way off, but it's still fun to think about what could happen in the first year of InfoCision. Jacq will have another year of experience (and most of the good Junior quarterbacks will still be playing in the West not the East, so the league might still look like it does this year) and while he is not the best quarterback we've ever had, he is far, far from the worst. Alex Allen, DeVoe Torrence and Dale Martin sound like a pretty impressive set of backs, the O-line who has played really well this year will mostly be back, might even get to see Ryan Bain play and hopefully he'll be angry. On paper at this point in the season, next year looks exciting.

If Bain can return in form that is a huge bonus. We have a couple of young talented CB that are getting some good PT this year too. I don't think we miss Grant at LB. I think Fobbs, Williams, Balaam, and the new guys step in and give us more speed at LB.Talent wise I think next year will be the best we have seen in a while. Unfortunately we will still have the same coaching staff.
