Bowl Projections

I'll concur with general board sentiment in saying EEEFFFFFFF Testicle Tech. I would be VERY pleased to see the Zippers play them in the MACC and beat them down to blow up their season. After that, the Bowl game would almost just be icing on the cake for me. I will say though that when it comes to getting a little exposure with the people of the Akron area and hoping that they'll be interested in seeing InfoSumma AND the Zips too, a bowl game against a team people are interested in would very valuable. Of course, if the Zippers don't come through as the season gets started again next week, these points will all be moot and we'll be back to gnashing of teethGO ZIPS!SeeTeeZip

EagleBank BowlDec. 20, 2008At Washington, D.C.Navy (Independent) vs. Akron (MAC)Look for Navy to secure a spot in this bowl in two weeks, following home games against SMU and Temple. The Zips are only 4-4, but their final four opponents are a combined 9-19.http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/9999161/?p...jections08
:D those teams may be 9-19 or whatever...what is the record of the teams the Zips have beaten??!! i know i'm always the voice of doom and gloom(or reality) but nobody on this site can tell you which team will show up next wednesday against toledo or the following week against fuffalo...thats the damn problem with these coaches and the players...i think the offense will be just ok...who knows about the D...look...fuffalo has some serious ass weapons on the O...you gotta beat them in the last game at the 'hole'..if not ...season over...oh that 'assumes' a win against toledo...maybe the D will step up...may jacquemain will keep his head on straight...maybe kennedy won't wake up and start running east/west again....maybe maybe Grant will play at his potential maybe the line will get a pass rush...for me Detroit is just fine...
