You guys have any firm dates yet for 2009 nonconference games. Syracuse fans are thinking you guys come up for a game with us on September 5th, 2009. Can you confirm?Good luck with the rest of your season--I see it looks like you might make a bowl game. Syracuse is playing much better ball now...however, too little too late for 2008. Likely we'll have a new coach in 2009.

The "official" website of GoZips.com is notoriously suspect with such information, and looking there now I cannot even find any future schedules currently posted. I know a few people (uakronkid) have been saying for a while that the Zips were heading back to the Carrier Dome next year. The following link seems to confirm this. Just found out Syracuse is hosting Minnesota on September 5th, 2009. We are traveling to Penn State on September 12th. So we'll be playing you in late September. Do you have a future schedule for 2009--even a partial one?

We know that we play Penn State to open and Indiana on September 19.

That makes sense...we are rumored to host Northwestern on September 19th, 2009. I bet we meet September 26th.
