GoZips88 Posted November 19, 2008 Report Posted November 19, 2008 Does anyone on the board have ANY idea why French's call of the game on 1350AM is 10 seconds behind??? I don't recall any delay in the past being this bad. I have always listened to the games at the JAR and Rubber Bowl but I've quit doing so this year it's so far behind the action. Did Frenchy or Dunn cut loose with an F-bomb-laced tirade that I somehow missed??? I can live with a one or two second delay but TEN? Unacceptable. Quote
Zips Win! Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 You must have missed my "Bush League" post after the Walsh game. 1350 bounces their signal to North Carolina and then back to UA and actually, it's an eleven second delay. This sucks and I hope UA/1350 can rectify this.I searched for other stations that might carry the game during the first half on Tuesday and found none. Yeah, I was out of town for the Walsh exhibition game and didn't take the time to sift back through Walsh-related threads when we got back home. Totally unacceptable and I hope Mack is hearing it from others too. Thanks again. Quote
Dr Z Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 I know this doesn't help the fan, but this is more for the administration. This would be great if Akron could be the first MAC team to do this. Reasonable priced at $15.What is a “Live Sports Radio”? * The Live Sports Radio is a specially designed and patented radio receiver that receives re-broadcasts at certain sporting events with NO DELAY. * Live Sports Radio (LSR) has been created with one very important objective in mind; that is: “Enriching Fan’s Experience”.
