Seriously, oh no, they beat us 2 years in a row for football and once in basketball this season. Buffalo has always given us fits in football.As for basketball, my goodness, 1 game, 1 game where their team is more upper classmen and ours in under classmen. Our team is just now starting to get a solid rotation and Keith has found a line-up that works. Relax Mr. Glass-is-half-empty, relax! Quote
Zips fan Posted February 1, 2009 Report Posted February 1, 2009 I would not consider Buffalo a team that has given Akron much trouble over the years. We are 8-2 against the Bulls since the joined the MAC, with most of our wins being quite lopsided. Buffalo will have to prove themselves for a longer stretch before I worry about them. I think it is good for their program to have some success but I am still not worried about Buffalo. If the trend would continue for two or three more years, then we would have an issue. Quote

Buckzip...not only is there a good chance that Buffalo could fall into obscurity again with a coaching change, but...in case nobody noticed, Their so-called "breakout" season this year ended up having a less-than-spectacular ending with the loss to Can't, and in their bowl game to finish with only an 8-6 record. And it will be very interesting to see how they do this year after having many key losses. Quote

They made it to a bowl game and lost and basically started over again.They may, or may not be a 1 hit member. We will see. Quote
