KingZip Posted March 9, 2005 Report Share Posted March 9, 2005 Oakland has a 12-win season which will not help Akron's RPI. Winning a tournament bares not one ounce of weight. The win over Niagara was a pretty good win as people can now see. Akron should hope for an NIT bid but will have to go to the finals to get one in my opinion. Remember, we were left out of the bowl picture when our weak AD could not pull any strings - what makes you think basketball will be any different.
